reminds me of Jungle Jims 57 gasser. he had it at Norwalk a couple years ago, with a FE in it. it's the one on the old SUN decals.

I bought the car back in Jan as a turn key race car . It has a 545 inch 460 based motor between 650 and 700 horse. I planned in racing it all year without doing anything major to it.. I guess I made about a dozen passes.. The carnage was cased by a broken crank the result of a failed damper. I am not sure what engine goes back in it.. Big inch horsepower is very addicting

that's one sweet merc. would make a great gasser with a big inch linc. y-block. have you ever looked at using a low heck 383 Chrysler intake on the 368.s, it looks like it would work with 1/2 in. spacers? you probably have a couple of spare linc. y's just laying around collecting dust, HA!HA!HA!
