I went to fix the saggy drivers door hinges on my 55 mainline 4 door yesterday.I found the lower"washer" on the himge pin to be non removable! -thats the one with what look like 3 pin spanner holes in it.I finally got the pins out and bored the holes round in the hinge and turned up a couple of bushings on the lathe. Can anyone tell me what the normal hinge repair procedure is??

steinauge I am not sure about your car, but the t-bird supply houses carry kits to drill out and install bushings in the hinge so it uses a standard size pin. You might look for some bushings that might work for the work you have done, or make some out of bronze. just some random info.
