Does anyone else think that might be a supercharged  Y-block in this coupe? found this over on the HAMB, pictures were taken by Richard "Mac" McKinstry in the 60's at the Indy nationals.

Definitely. Looks like fender well headers also. Wish I could see his exhaust and steering set-up.

From the looks of the car I bet he was giving some Y-Block lessons that day. Be nice to know some history on it. Chuck

I don't think that picture was taken at the Indy Nationals/Raceway Park.  I don't recall seeing any trees close to the track.

I was there in the early 60's and it doesn't look familiar, but my old memory could be off :-)
