The Manufactor has warned me about list price, if I want to make any deals, they don't want to hear about it. If you call me, 931-739-0152 . We can get it to work, Quicktime has stepped up and made a excellent product. Dave Bolton

Mongo,

What flywheels and starters are compatable with the Quicktime scattershield?  Their website calls for a 164 tooth flywheel.

Dennis

I am pretty sure , any of the newer starters will work,  when they come in I will bolt 1 up, put a wheel on , try a couple starters, got a mini starter too , spin it over. I have not used an old style starter in a long time, they may not fit, no big loss either.

Davie,

A 164T Ford design flywheel is a 300 CID truck or a 302/351/460 one that is neutral balanced.  Question is will they bolt to a 292/312 crankshaft?  If yes, I would also assume compatibility using the later starter.  The old 292/312's were 146T with the early Ford inertia starter.  Currently, I have an aluminum Fidenza 146T wheel with the early starter.  The early Ford inertia starter may not even package into the Quicktime scattershield, yet alone have the correct center distance between the gears.

Dennis

Dear Dennis,

I received the shipment , very complete kit ,well made, but issues with clearances for all stock parts. I am currently working with Quicktime to retool the next batch they do. They are coming now with gloss black powdercoating. I order in a different color, your thoughts ?
