Looks like it didn't sell - wonder what the reserve was-10,000? Pet peeve - reserve
If you want to sell something, state your bottom line price and don't jerk others around with a reserve

I don't think there was the value in parts at the final bid.

That's the 2nd accident like that I've heard of in the last year or so.. A well known contributor to Y-Block Magazine was seriously injured & lost his mint T.Bird. He spent months in hospital & rehab. Likely will never fully recover. Recently he wrote about it, & said if it wasn't for his lap belt & the recessed steering column, he'd likely be deceased. Even then he broke both cheek bones & lost all his front teeth along with numerous other injuries..

The Master Cylinder (5/22/2014) Sez it was hit by a City Bus!! WOW!! How fast do they drive city buses in Arizona...
That's exactly what I thought when I saw this wreckage... the car just about got torn up into two pieces and did you see the damage under the hood? Holy cow! hitting a Tbird that hard so that you even damage the block. There's got to be more to this story than what we know that is for sure. Glad to hear the driver lived through it, let's just hope the remaining injuries will not incapacitate her the rest of her life.

Did a quick Google search and found this about the accident... sounds like driver lost control for some reason... over aggressive or mechanical malfunction... IDK.

F = MA. A bus has a lot of M so it doesn't need a lot of A to cause damage.

I have witnessed quite a few bus accidents. I have a CDL and drive a bus just about every week. I have even rolled one on its side before with 20+ children inside and NO INJURIES believe it or not. The state fixed the caving asphalt, 4 ft deep ditch with no guard rail, and dangerous road 2 days before the case went to trial. You should have seen the look on the DA's face when I rolled out my photos.... I digress.
Once you find out that the lady crossed the centerline and hit the bus just about head on, it makes sense why the car came apart. You got F=MA for sure, but now double it if they are heading at each other. Holy cow

Yep and I think the bloke was full of BS saying the driver survived. That's a heck of a collision with no seat belts

The news report said she was alive when they took her away, but for how long might be the question.

Moral of this story, don't let your wife/girlfriend/daughter drive your T-Bird. Chuck
