Are the perches and pinion angle at 90 degrees on a stock 55 Victoria rear end?

Wrong choice of words, if the rear end was sitting on the workbench, perches level, would the pinion angle be true also.

No, assuming the perches were parallel with the ground the pinion angle would have to be less than 90 dregees.
