While I saw that episode with Pat awhile back, it seems that the story line with Pat and the Customline Victoria starts at about six minutes into the show so there’s not a lot of wading through the whole episode to watch the good stuff. There’s no doubt that Matt getting slapped silly was simply cut out of the episode to keep that G rating.
