Hi Guys, 

I have a '55 Townsedan that I'm in the process of restoring.  My steering wheel is in two pieces, the upper half that is connected to the column and a lower piece that has come off and is in my parts box.  I thought about trying to restore it, but it's in pretty bad shape and I just hate to waste time trying to do it.

   Does anyone know where I might find a decent steering wheel with minor cracks that would be good for restoring.  I've looked at swap meets and there just aren't any or they want an arm and leg for them.  Any help locating one would be most helpful!

Mike   i have a steering wheel for a 55 i will check the condition tomorrow and let you know. probably just one leg will do it..    Carl  Ohio

Mike   i have 2- 55 ford steering wheels and neither one of them is in very good condition.the plastic on the spokes has cracked and separated from the rims.it would be really tough to get them repaired back to normal.i will check around and see if i can find you one that is in better shape   Carl  ohio
